What do you do on Monday after the fire on Sunday night?

Business Continuity Plans Course
'What do you do on Monday after the fire on Sunday night?'

Unplanned events can have a devastating effect on businesses. Crises such as fire, damage to stock, theft or vandalism, natural disasters, powers cuts, illness of key staff or IT system failure, etc., could all make it difficult or even impossible to carry out your normal day-to-day activities.

At worst, this could see you losing important customers - and even going out of business altogether.

But with good planning you can take steps to minimise the potential impact of a disaster - and ideally prevent it happening in the first place.

This half day course will help you to identify potential risks, make preparations for emergencies and test how your business is likely to cope in a disaster.

Content:
- Business continuity planning in the event of a major fire or catastrophic event
- Record keeping
- Action plan
- Key personnel and roles

Forthcoming Dates:
29 May 2009
26 June 2009
10 July 2009

Outokumpu Stainless contract well underway

Our contract as CDM Co-ordinators at Outokumpu is now well underway with EDS having desheeted the building and now demolishing the racking systems with the help of the 777 Demolition super long reach machine.

As you can see from the photographs the machine size and reach allows it to safely remove the racking piecemeal style and work along the building from the gable end.

EDS supervisor Tommy Swift is on programme to complete the works as the original estimated duration and we will post additional photographs throughout the contract.

Les Hemmings is dealing with the project on a day to day basis with John Woodward visiting site once a month.
