Do you need background classical music when working on your paperwork in the office?

When working away at C&D John works with no music in the background, whereas Jill often works whilst listening to Radio 4 and Craig Wilkinson is a big fan of KERRANG! radio so that shows how tastes vary just in our small company.

Light years ago we would have all listened on a transistor radio (My Dad made me a crystal radio when I was about 13 and I listened every night in my bedroom to Radio Luxembourg for the latest sounds and advertisements from Horace Batchelor and his "Infradraw" method of football pools draw predictions and Consulate Cigarettes, described as "Cool as a Mountain Stream").

Coming more up to date iPods would be the norm a few years ago and nowadays it is music streamed from the Internet via Spotify or iTunes.

If you are in need of classical music to assist you in getting through the working day you could go to ClassicFM or Radio 3 or you could just pop over to Philip Lange's website and take a listen to a friend of mine. Philip Lange, who is an excellent pianist, may be just the man to help.

If you load this particular page you will be able to listen to seven pieces of his piano repertoire which are all taken from his new CD (available from the website for £10.00 including postage and packing).

I realise that piano keyboard music is not everyone's cup of tea but if it is then please take a listen to Philip when you need a break from your own keyboard.
