Crane driver's age old problem cured

The age old problem of where to urinate if you are a tower crane driver has at last been solved by a new "loo in a bag" which will bring to an end the tradition of using milk bottles in the cab when the driver needs to answer a call of nature.

The manufacturers of the Shewee have invented the Peebol which is a disposable urinal bag which converts liquid into a deodorised non-spill gel within seconds.

The bag can be used multiple times, holds up to one litre and can be disposed of in a regular waste bin.

Shewee believe that the Peebol is perfect for small, short duration sites with no toilet facilities where workers are often forced to hunt around for the nearest public loo to answer the call of nature.

One crane driver interviewed about the product said "This sounds like a great idea, but it's just a question of whether contractors will provide this or just leave us to manage with a bottle"

Here at C&D we think the product is ideal and it gets our full approval, but we must add that it should be considered as a last resort and only used when it is impossible to provide toilet facilities, rather than an excuse for providing suitable & sufficient facilities at the site.
