C&D Consultancy now CHAS accredited

We are pleased to announce that C&D are now CHAS Accredited.

Here's a copy of the letter we received from Michael Hobden, CHAS Scheme Accredited Assessor:

Dear Mr Woodward,

Health and Safety Assessment - Contractors Health & Safety (CHAS) Assessment Scheme on behalf of: - C & D Consultancy

I have completed my assessment of your submission. You will recall it required a response to a number of health and safety questions that I used to complete my assessment of your policy, organisation and arrangements.

I am pleased to inform you that your application is compliant and is now registered in the CHAS Scheme National Database. You should not take compliance as a right of entry to buyers select or preferred lists as there may be other stages involved. Our buyers have the right to ask for further additional job or project specific health and safety information on application, especially at invitation to tender or a second stage assessment.

Your CHAS Accreditation certificate is part of this service and will be issued automatically shortly. Please allow 10 working days after being found compliant for delivery.

One of the aims of our scheme is to reduce unnecessary duplication. In the event your company is asked to complete a CHAS or similar questionnaire by one of our buyers (they are listed on our web site) please contact them before completing the application to seek information as to why it is required.
