Some time ago John went to look at the Reading Civic Centre prior to its demolition and came back thinking that it was a complex job with a great deal of asbestos to be removed, difficult access, and a great deal of traffic management issues. So whoever won the contract had a job on their hands.
The tender process is over and Erith were successful so they now have the job to bring the centre down.
