Terex|Finlay and Finlay Group open day this month

Terex|Finlay and Finlay Group have decided to host an open day later this month on Thursday, 24th September.

There will be 12 working Terex|Finlay machines on display as well as factory engineers and sales personnel to chat with. The machines present on the day are:

• C-1545 Cone Crusher
• C-1540S Cone Crusher
• I-140 Impact Crusher
• I-100RS Impact Crusher
• 984 Horizonal Screener
• 694+ Inclined Screen
• 693+ Inclined Screen
• 693+ Spaleck Inclined Screen
• 883+ Spaleck Heavy Duty Screen
• 873 Heavy Duty Screen

According to Terex|Finlay:

"One of the stars of the show will be the NEW 873 heavy duty screener. This highly versatile machine is ideally suited to working in aggregates, sand and gravel, top soil, construction demolition and recycling applications and has the capacity to process at a rate of up to 450tph."

Liebherr show off world's largest conventional crawler crane lifting cranes

Liebherr traditionally hold open days in June, and last year they showed existing and potential future customers quite a treat. Liebherr decided to demonstrate the lifting load capacity of the world's largest conventional crawler crane, the LR 13000. The LR 13000 was used to lift the next largest crane, the 1,080 tonne LR 11350, which were holding LR 1350 and LR 1100, which together weigh in at 350 tonnes.

You can see what the 3,000 attendees saw at last year's open day in the video above. While I wouldn't want to have to write the lifting plan for this, I can't wait to see what Liebherr have planned for 2013's open day next month.
