Introduction
This course covers the syllabus as set out in the Health and Safety Approved code of practice. This course entails the taking and passing of a practical exam on the final afternoon. Passing the exam entitles the holder of the certificate to be registered as a First Aider. The certificate is currently valid for three years.

* Personal Hygiene
* Circulation
* Resuscitation
* Dressings and bandages
* Wounds and bleeding
* Circulatory disorders
* Duties of a first aider
* The skeleton
* Fractures
* Unconsciousness
* Burns and scalding
* Handling and transport
Training can be done on your premises or we can provide a training room for up to 12 candidates.
Course fees cover registration, exam fees, book and certificate.
Should delegates require an annual update (usually 1 day) this can be provided.
Emergency First Response courses are based on internationally recognised medical guidelines for emergency care – guidelines produced through a consensus process of practicing professionals in the emergency medical field. Educationally the courses reflect a well researched instructional design for this type of training.
Delegates will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.
