Managing Demolition for Principal Contractors

Introduction

This course is intended for Principle Contractors and others who need to understand the regulations and guidance relating to demolition; have an appreciation of the demolition process including techniques and sequencing and the risks involved and know how to establish a safe system of work.

Aims

To make delegates aware of the points that need to be addressed before commencing demolition work and how to manage the actual demolition project. The course aims to provide an understanding of the risks associated with demolition work and how such risks can be managed.

Stability of structure over night - demo sequencing

Competency checks - legal requirements, training and best practice
