John Woodward to attend IDE Seminar February 27th

On the 29th January John attended the Sheffield Hallam University Construction Breakfast Club. Speaking to 40 students he covered two main areas in his talk:

• Demolition - What do I need to do before I start on site?


• IDE - The Foremost Institute for Demolition Engineering in the World

All students were encouraged to join the IDE as Student Members.



John is attending a further IDE seminar on the 27th February entitled Demolition: Innovation & Regulation. This time it is being held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. Anyone involved in Construction or Demolition is encouraged to attend the event with the following areas being touched upon:

• Hydro demolition


• Nitrogen demolition


• Work in the Middle East


• Bridge demolition


• Chimney demolition in a nuclear environment


• Tinsley Cooling Towers demolition


• Composite panel disposal


• ICE Demolition Protocol
