IDE Autumn Seminar Speakers: Alex Albon
Alex has over 20 years experience as a consulting geo-environmental engineer, environmental auditor and waste management specialist acting for developers, contractors, the public sector and financial institutions within the fields of brownfield remediation and development, contaminated land, risk assessment, hydrogeology and due diligence. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager.
Alex has a keen interest in sustainable development and web technologies in construction and in 2008 he developed and launched Earth Exchange®. The website enables developers and contractors to easily find users of their surplus soils and aggregates and to procure such materials. The system streamlines and improves the procurement process, reduces haulage distances, reduces waste disposal and reduces the impacts of construction.
If you are interested in booking a place for the seminar please visit the IDE website for further details and a booking form.
