Demolition Video: Press box at Giants Stadium pull-down

The video above shows the demolition of the press box at the Giants Stadium in New Jersey carried out on the 19th May. The work was contracted out to Gramercy Group, Inc.

Gramercy used a pull-down method which tooks weeks of preparation in order to get right. The final solution used 2 Caterpillar dozers and 2 Komatsu loaders to pull down the front support columns, then 3 other Komatsu and 3 Hitachi excavators were used to pull the structure over with heavy cables wrapped around each of the remaining structural columns.
