Demolition Awards entries exceed expectations
Regular visitors to this website will know that John Woodward sits on the judging panel for the Demolition Awards 2010, following on from a similar involvement last year, and he spent the whole of last weekend, plus part of this week, carrying out this year’s judging.
The number of entries was greater this year and the quality, across all categories, was excellent with strong entries from the UK, Italy, Brazil and USA in particular.
When all of the individual judges have carried out their work they will meet at the Rookery Hotel in London on Wednesday, 15th September to agree on the shortlist for all categories which will be announced by KHL on Thursday, 16th September.
Those companies shortlisted will then go forward to a second round of judging nearer to the event itself, on 5th November at Hotel Okura, Amsterdam, where the winners will be announced.
D&Ri editor Lindsay Gale said:
“I certainly do not envy the task facing this year’s judges”
and seeing how much effort John put into the judging this week we agree with Lindsay.
