Here at C&D we are often asked questions concerning the employment of young persons on soft stripping works and whether those young persons can be used when asbestos based products are present in the building for demolition.
Rather than deal with the matter in full in this post we can summarise that a person-specific risk assessment must be done and the person must not be allowed to come into contact with hazardous substances such as asbestos.
