A.R. Demolition gives 8-year-old William a memorable demolition day

A.R. Demolition have been undertaking the demolition of Tresham College on St. Mary's Road in Kettering over the summer. Local residents are very happy about this due to the amount of vandalism that was occurring there. The presence of A.R. Demolition on site has also brought lots of visitors eager to see progress.

One of those visitors was Mr. Foster whose 8-year-old son William has autism. A.R. Demolition agreed to let William make a visit where he got to sit in the machines, as well as be provided with his own hard hat and vest (which he got to keep). As the picture above shows, William was a very happy boy and his father has said the grin on his face has yet to fade.

When carrying out a demolition job it's always important to interact and get the support of the local community. In this case A.R. Demolition have gone well beyond what was required of them and left locals with a great memory of the company and the work that was carried out.

The cleared site will now make way for 48 houses and 59 retirement homes.
