InterConstruct 2011 Virtual Conference starts Tuesday

The InterConstruct 2011 Virtual Conference, organised by the IOSH Construction Group in partnership with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), takes place on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 October and is completely online, allowing more opportunity to participate.

As the conference is virtual, you can attend sessions whenever you like. It runs for two days over the 18th and 19th October, but all the sessions will be available to view for 30 days once the event has ended. The sessions on offer are intended for managers, consultants, civil engineers, field-level safety supervisors, construction-level supervisors and safety and health coordinators. Areas covered include:
  • The latest regulatory issues facing international construction operations
  • Best practices, case studies and important safety strategies related to such technical topics as scaffolding safety and safe work at heights
  • How to reduce health hazards on construction sites by design and management
  • Safety strategies that help you improve your organizational bottom line
  • Using prevention through design tools to achieve a zero harm project
  • How to successfully implement safety and health programs on multiple construction sites located in various parts of the world

  • AIHA / ACHMM Member - £113.64
