Loading of Dumpers

We have had a number of emails over the last few days asking for clarification as to whether a dumper driver should get off the machine when it is being loaded or should he stand behind the rollover bars.

To avoid us having to answer the question again this week we would point all readers to the HSE guidance note CIS52 available from the HSE website which clearly states on page 3 of the guidance that drivers should "get off the dumper when it is being loaded".
