Eye sore Bradford & Bingley building could finally be demolished
In Bingley there stands an eye sore of a building in the form of the old Bradford & Bingley headquarters. The site is owned by supermarket company Sainsbury's, and it looks as though it may finally come down during July.
Sainsbury's has submitted an application to Bradford Council to demolish the Main Street building with a start date of July 14th. Now it's up to the council to greenlight the plan, and we doubt any one is going to object. Local MP Philip Davies has also been pushing hard to get the building demolished.
