Ditton Services offering control and eradication solution for Japanese Knotweed

Japanese Knotweed can cause some serious problems in the UK. It can have a major impact on biodiversity, but from an industrial site standpoint there's problems it can cause with regards to flooding and property damage. It even classes as an offense under section 14(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 to "plant or otherwise cause to grow in the wild" any plant listed in Schedule nine, Part II to the Act, which includes Japanese knotweed.

With that in mind, a control and eradication solution is required. If you're in the Midlands, Ditton Services provides such a service to Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Telford, Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas. Ditton uses the most advanced and successful method of Stem Injection. A three year management plan is put into place, which is ideal for industrial sites that will not be used for redevelopment, public open spaces, churchyards, cemetery’s, and residential properties. Treatment is spread out over the course of 3 years but very often the Japanese Knotweed can be eradicated sooner.
