Elizabeth Court, Churchill Court and Walter Robinson Court were originally due to be imploded on Sunday, May 15th. But due to safety concerns, that date got pushed back to July 31st so as to ensure the implosion happens in the safest environment possible.
The demolition will be carried out by Forshaws Demolition, with Blackpool Council holding regular discussions with the HSE regarding the job, which will require and exclusion zone be put in place around the blocks.
We look forward to seeing the three blocks come down at the end of the month.
