Demolish & Dismantle continues to grow, now popular in Russia

When we launched Demolish & Dismantle back in 2008, we knew the audience would be small and niche. We were getting 50 visitors a month after a few months of hard work, and they were all coming from the UK. Then with the help of John Woodward's growing online presence, especially through his Twitter account, Europe began reading and we started getting over 100 visitors a month. Next up, the USA, and we jumped again to regularly see over 500 visitors a month with traffic growing from the UK, Europe, and the US.

We've been steadily growing ever since, and 2016 has seen a new area of the world start reading D&D: Russia. Our monthly traffic? It now averages 5,000 pageviews, which is a huge achievement. And last week we went past 300,000 total.

Here's last month's pageviews, which shows you just how wide-ranging our readership has become:

We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who visits the sites, and hope that you will continue to spread the word.

Demolish and Dismantle reaches a quarter of a million pageviews!

C&D Consultancy's foray into the world wide web started back in 2008 when John Woodward laid the groundwork for a website called Demolish and Dismantle that would cover a whole range of areas related to the demolition industry. The goal was to provide a complete resource for those in the industry seeking guidance, training, insights, and the latest news.

7 years on and a quarter of a million pageviews later (251,334 at time of writing), Demolish and Dismantle is achieving its goal. There's now more than 1,750 published articles on the site and around 200 people visiting every single day. That may not seem like much compared to the big players on the web such as Facebook and Twitter, but for an industry that's so hands-on away from a computer, these are numbers to be very proud of. And what's more, they keep growing.

It's John's goal to continue offering the right mix of news, advice, and training. And training in particular is becoming increasingly important, which is why the Demolition Training sister website was launched. It is a much younger destination on the web, but with 350 articles it has already achieved over 50,000 pageviews.

We'd like to say a big thank you to anyone who visits the site, especially the regulars, and we hope to continue growing and providing content for you to consume for many years to come.

However, neither website would be viewed at all were it not for the excellent work done by Matthew Humphries who took the ideas and made them work. The sites load on every device, are updated regularly, and have never been offline for even a minute in all that time. Well done Matthew.
