Health and safety regulations are put in place to protect everyone working on a site, be they constructing, demolishing, or using whatever the final purpose of the site is once the work is complete. But there's always going to be some relationships that raises questions and problems. And sometimes very difficult questions need tackling before they turn into problems.
Colin Hale is a Construction Demolition Expert, so he's seen more than his fair share of such difficult questions and circumstances. One of those is a case where there was a dispute over how free of asbestos crushed concrete was, and whether a sub-contractor is obliged to provide crushed concrete completely free of asbestos traces.
On the face of it the answer is an obvious yes, but then you need the paperwork to ensure that really is going to be the case. Colin Hale sorted out the dispute, but also wrote a document detailing what happened as part of the review. It's well worth a read.
