Major international networking event being held in Istanbul

KHL Group and its Turkish partner, Apa Yayincilick have organized a major international networking event in the Turkish city of Istanbul during March next year.

The event is backed by the Turkish government and will bring together a number of recognised speakers from the demolition industry.

Best practice and equipment in modern demolition will be a major part of the programme in what is a relatively undeveloped industry in Turkey. The event should provide an insight into the latest demolition techniques for Turkish contractors, as well as providing a networking event for contractors from outside Turkey wishing to examine possible opportunities in the country.

2012 World Demolition Summit date and venue announced

Demolition & Recycling International and its publisher, KHL Group, are delighted to announce that the 2012 World Demolition Summit will once again be held in the city of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The venue will be the HN Grand Krasnapolski Hotel in the centre of the city and the event will take place on Thursday 1st November, 2012.

As with the previous three highly successful Summit events, the 2012 World Demolition Summit will consist of a full day technical programme and an evening gala dinner, during which the winners of the 2012 World Demolition Awards will be revealed.

Details of the 2012 World Demolition Awards are available from the Demolition Awards website. Entries can be made for projects that have either been completed or started during the period June 2011 and June 2012. The closing date for entries will once again by July 31st, with no entries being accepted after this date. All entries MUST be accompanied with a 1,200 word summary and a completed project summary sheet, if appropriate.

2011 World Demolition Summit confirmed for Amsterdam

Anyone who attended the Demolition Awards this year in Amsterdam and had a great time will be pleased to know we're set to do it all over again next year.

We are returning to Amsterdam, and using the Hotel Okura again in the first week of November 2011. The event organisation is being handled by KHL Group and the European Demolition Association, and will include the gala dinner, one-day technical conference, and the EDA Autumn conference event.
