Summary of the EDA Annual Convention

Between June 11-13 the European Demolition Association (EDA) held its Annual Convention in Helsinki Finland. For all those who could not attend, the EDA has put together a very thorough review of the event.

2011 World Demolition Summit confirmed for Amsterdam

Anyone who attended the Demolition Awards this year in Amsterdam and had a great time will be pleased to know we're set to do it all over again next year.

We are returning to Amsterdam, and using the Hotel Okura again in the first week of November 2011. The event organisation is being handled by KHL Group and the European Demolition Association, and will include the gala dinner, one-day technical conference, and the EDA Autumn conference event.

European Demolition Association presidential handover

Demolition News has an exclusive video of the European Demolition Association presidential handover which you can watch above.

The handover was made at the Hall of Physics in Warsaw, Poland last weekend, with the new president being Giuseppe Panseri.

Yves Canessa's EDA presidency comes to an end

Yves Canessa, president of the European Demolition Association (EDA), will end that presidency this week. But as the video above shows, he goes out with a bit of a bang.

The new president will be Giuseppe Panseri.
