C&D renew membership of the West & North Yorkshire Construction Safety Association

C&D Consultancy would like to announce that we have renewed our membership of the West & North Yorkshire Construction Safety Association.

The Association was established in 1983 to encourage construction companies to freely discuss safety related discussions in an open forum with a view to sharing work experiences and developing safe working practices. Following the creation of the CDM Regulations the aims of the Association were extended to include other professional groups in recognition of the role they can play in influencing design and therefore achieving safer construction.

The Association provides information, training and advice from pro-active managers and experts within the industry including regular representation form the HSE.

Here at C&D we do everything possible to spread the word that safety is paramount and we do that in many diverse ways, such as by training the management and workforce of demolition companies via our training site at www.demolitiontraining.com.

We also attend and speak at HSE WWT campaigns throughout the UK and by membership of safety associations. We are delighted to be involved again this year with the West & North Yorkshire Construction Safety Association who meet on the second Tuesday of every month at Sno Zone, Xscape, Castleford to discuss issues relating to construction and demolition.

C&D become members of WNYCSA

C&D are pleased to announce that we have been accepted as members of the West & North Yorkshire Construction Safety Association (WNYCSA) who meet monthly to promote best practices in construction safety.

We were invited to join the association following a successful presentation in December by John Woodward on the subject of “What to do before demolition”.
