HSE relaunches Shattered Lives campaign
Last month we wrote about a new HSE campaign called Shattered Lives, which is meant to act as a hub of information and advice as to how to prevent accidents from happening in the workplace.
In the East Midlands alone there were1,117 major injuries and one death through slips, trips, and falls. The HSE has now added to those figures with news there were 1,396 such injuries occurring in the West Midlands, as well as 3,044 workers requiring more than 3 days off work.
The HSE is now relaunching the Shattered Lives campaign. It is hoped the information presented will help to dramatically cut injuries occurring in the workplace and reduce the amount of time taken off work.
