Four die as steel structure collapses underground
Four men have died while working underneath the premises of engineering company Claxton Engineering Services in the Runham area of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
It is thought a section of the steel structure being built below ground collapsed on top of them. Death was thought to be quick as the emergency services could do nothing when they arrived and pronounced them all dead.
The structure was being built four meters below the ground to act as reiforcing for the existing building foundations. It's unclear what happened to make the structure collapse, but a full investigation involving the HSE is underway.
