C&D are proud to support the first "They Wore the Shirt" golf day raising funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital

Friday, 27th May saw two teams from C&D Consultancy entered in the first ever "They Wore the Shirt" golf day at Enville Golf Club, Shropshire, but neither of our teams bothered the scorers! The event was organised to launch the book "They Wore the Shirt" that charts Wolves shirts through the years and the players that wore them, and to raise funds for the hospital.


C&D Team 1 was captained by Craig Wilkinson and included Les Hemmings, Warren Turley and Richard Vann.
C&D Team 2 was captained by Craig Spillard and included Jim Mayer, Stuart Hunter and Duncan Reeves


Following bacon rolls on arrival 18 teams, including former Wolves players Phil Parkes, Kenny Hibbitt, Mel Eves, and Steve Daley took part with a shotgun start at 10.00am and finishing in the clubhouse with a pie and chips lunch.

Prizes on offer included;-

• A four ball at Patsull Park Golf Club
• A four ball at The Astbury
• A bottle of malt whisky

At the end of the day we are proud to announce that the golf day in aid of Birmingham Childrens Hospital Cancer Unit raised an excellent £3,300.
