C&D customer ECY Haulmark like "My Dad does Demolition"

ECY Haulmark are always looking to engage with current and future customers so it was no surprise when MD Rick Yarwood ordered a few copies of "My Dad does Demolition" for the workforce to see the reaction and to test whether the book would be useful at trade events in the future.

Rick's comments were:

"Thanks very much for the books. I thought they were very well written and enjoyable. Both my son and daughter read them and enjoyed them.

I liked the bit at the end about the young lad dressing up. Please see attached picture."

We think the picture sums up what we wanted the message from the book to be.

C&D customers work together to achieve results

Anglian Demolition & Asbestos Limited are a relatively new company having only been around since 2009. You wouldn't know it from recent activity, though. Having been accepted into the NFDC the company currently focuses on work local to their base in Norfolk and across East Anglia.

A recent chat with ECY Haulmark has helped solve a problem all demolition contractors face: how to dispose of site waste with ever-changing rules and regulations. The solution? A Rubblemaster RM70Go compact mobile impact crusher, which can be taken to site and used to crush waste before transporting it--a much more efficient method.

OilQuick system advantages discussed by IDE Vice President David Darsey

There's an interesting article over on the IDE website about the recent investment Erith Group has made in new plant and equipment. Interestingly, David Darsey, Erith Group Director and IDE Vice President, insisted all new demolition machines be fitted with the OilQuick automatic quick coupler system.

The reasons are simple: safety and speed because operators "no longer having to spend time manually changing between attachments."

IDE signs sponsorship agreement with Liebherr Great Britain Ltd and ECY Haulmark

The Institute of Demolition Engineers has announced it has signed a 12 month sponsorship agreement with Liebherr Great Britain Ltd and ECY Haulmark. Anyone visiting IDE regional meetings and events over the coming year will see this sponsorship in action.

Speaking about the agreement, IDE President, Duncan Rudall said:

"The IDE are very pleased to have two prominent, well recognised, and influential companies wanting to be associated with us and we are certain that both parties will bring a lot to the table. We look forward to welcoming them into the IDE and kindly thank them for their sponsorship."

If everything goes to plan, the agreement can be extended for a further 12 months, which would see sponsorship continue well into 2017.

Friday 28th & Saturday 29th June 2013 are shaping up to be one the most hotly anticipated weekends of the year so far for the demolition industry.

The National Federation of Demolition Contractors and The Institute of Demolition Engineers have joined forces to host the Demolition Expo 2013 which promises to be an event for all the family to enjoy.
