More CDM-C appointments for C&D

Our normal post at C&D sees a bundle of leaflets for stairlifts, life insurance and bulb catalogues sprinkled with bills and the odd cheque, but Friday's post was a post to remember as we received 5 orders for CDM-C projects throughout the UK.

The contracts vary in size from £30,000 to £1 million, and we are now clearing our desks to start work on them. These orders are the result of continual improvement in the service that we give to our customers and are all repeat business, which is particularly pleasing as customer retention is very important to us at C&D.

Over the last six months we have seen demand for our demolition consultancy grow by 30% and that growth will see us head into 2013 with the best forward order book in our history.

Worldwide training enquiries for C&D Consultancy's new online awareness training courses

At the end of last week John was speaking at the World Demolition Summit 2011 where he outlined the proposed new C&D online training courses due to be rolled out in early 2012, following requests from overseas customers for user friendly “bite size” training courses for demolition, asbestos and general safety awareness training.

We are delighted to announce that enquiries following the presentation have been flowing into the office from Brazil, Chicago, Denmark, Cyprus and Australia and further talks are now planned with both potential investors and web hosting companies to move the training forward towards a launch in early 2012.

Flood of training orders for C&D Consultancy

We are delighted to announce that C&D have been awarded orders for over 4,000 hours of demolition specific training in the last 24 hours. Our recent decisions to revamp a number of our courses has proved to be correct with a flood of orders to the office during yesterday.

The new orders include over 1,000 hours of training for EDS on the new C&D Hot Works course and over 150 hours for Lee Group on the recently launched C&D Behavoir and Stress Management course.

The courses will be delivered by the C&D training team between now and the end of 2011 in venues around the country.
