John Woodward interviewed about demolition from an anthropological viewpoint
From time to time John gets interviewed on a variety of subjects such as the recent interview in The Independent, a post on The Independist, and his regular articles in PDi magazine.
But these articles are vastly different to a recent interview with Alberto Goyena from Brazil who interviewed John as part of his research into demolitions from an anthropological viewpoint. The first of Alberto's articles has now been published with more to follow so why not take a look on his site, called Vibrant, where the article is the last one on the list.
We will bring you the new articles as they appear.

John Woodward interview in The Independent
Just before Christmas, John was interviewed by The Independent newspaper with regard to demolition techniques at the moment. The hour long interview was condensed down in last Thursday's edition to a few lines in the article. To read the article in it's entirety please click on the following link:

The lost interview: KHL talks to John Woodward IDE President
Regular visitors to this website will know that our John Woodward was elected to the position of Institute of Demolition Engineers President in November 2010, but KHL magazine were unable to attend the meeting and had to interview John at the IDE Seminar in Leeds in February 2011.
Production issues at KHL meant that the original interview by editor Lindsay Gale was lost and it is only now that the interview has been recovered and featured in the KHL magazine.
The interview shows a different side to John's Presidency, sets out clearly his plans for the future of the IDE and can be read in full at:-

Please click through to the article and see what John's plans are.
