Fire Marshall
Introduction
The Fire Marshall course will give you information about Warden duties/checks, help you to identify the safeguards which you should have in your workplace and provide guidance on fire precautions.
A failure to comply with the Fire Regulations with places with one or more employees at serious risk in case of fire is, in itself, a criminal offence. In any proceedings for such an offence, it is a defence for people charged to prove that they took all reasonable precautions and exercised all due diligence to avoid the commission of the offence.
Aims
The course is aimed at all individuals who have evacuation roles and duties as Key Staff (Fire Marshal and Wardens). This course is tailored to your working environment. It takes into account the relevant fire risks associated to your surroundings and how to reduce / deal with and tackle any issues with confidence.
The Course includes:
* Fire safety checks
* Human Behaviour
* The Fire Triangle
* Selection and use of correct extinguishers on controlled fires
* Detailed look at Company Fire Procedures
* Emergency action plans
Delegates will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.
